……..The Indian Dancer (Fig. 38) is a relatively new mural, with the artist and dates unknown at this time. She may be performing a dance to petition for rain to water the corn, whose silk and green leaves are in her right hand and hair. The shell of her headdress is a water symbol in the highlands of Mexico where water is not plentiful, as are the shell rattles found at her ankles
